We’re Impact Hub and we’re looking for someone made up of equal parts, diligence, and execution to become our new Senior Finance Manager.

The Senior Finance Manager will manage the accounting and financial reporting processes at Impact Hub San Francisco and it’s parent company, Mission Hub, LLC. He/she is responsible for adhering to global accounting standards, for managing the integrity of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, as well as for developing internal control policies and procedures. At the direction of the founders, he/she will prepare financial analyses of operations for use by management and will be responsible for monthly cash forecasting and monthly reporting, the coordination of the annual budget, and is the primary contact for the financial auditors.
ROLE: Senior Finance Manager
Prepare hands-on work related to the ongoing accounting for the organization, including month-end/quarter-end, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, and budget reports
Manage and control weekly cash flow projections; update vendor payment plan weekly
Establish and monitor effective financial controls for the organization as well as lead the coordination efforts with auditors
Coordinate and direct the preparation of Mission Hub’s annual budget planning and financial forecasts. Review and analyze each business unit to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies. Communicate financial result and variances to plan or forecast.
Update debt and equity (cap table) spreadsheets on quarterly basis, coordinate monthly interest payments, and prepare and distribute annual profit interest share subscription agreements to all Class B shareholders
Coordinate payment for City of San Francisco, Franchise Tax Board and other tax entities, supervise 1099-Misc. for suppliers and IRS, and prepare year end tax filings
Manage the annual financial statement review by outside CPA
HR and Administration
Manage HR including onboarding and terminating of employees and other HR ad hoc duties, including contract administration and company’s financial compliance with all contracts
Oversee the accounting department and its integration with the rest of the company
Manage contract administration; ensure company’s financial compliance with all contracts
Prepare regular board presentations summarizing accounting and operational activities and results; coordinate with other department heads and presenters to prepare board meeting documents

Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
Meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels
Strong IT skills (including but not limited to, Paypal, Quickbooks, Square, Eventbrite, auth.net), always being ahead of new technology
Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
Quickbooks experience specifically P&L, Balance Sheet, and EBITDA generation
Customer Relationship management platform experience such as Nexudus, Coworkify etc.
AP & AR experience in workflow management and improvement
Cashflow and budget management for operating expenses and expenditures
