About Monochrome Coffee

Monochrome Coffee Co. is a social enterprise coffee company. They're socially-minded coffee snobs, out to empower people to change the world now.

The world around us is shaped by the decisions we make as individuals. How you treat people, what you do with your time, and where you spend your hard-earned coin has a big impact.

You don’t always know the impact you’re going to have on the world so they want to make sure you’re empowered in your choices. Not only are their beans organic and bought from small-holder coffee farmers, but MCco.’s profits fund programs in Tanzania through their parent organisation. Each program is designed to empower youth to live extraordinary lives and be leaders in their communities.

So relax, with MCco. making a difference is as easy as buying your morning coffee – in fact, it’s one and the same.

For us, being a B Corp is important because of what it means. It is a governance framework that ensures that we always uphold the highest standards. It demonstrates our stand to our customers and partners and communicates our commitment that business is used as a force for good.

The Change We Seek®

Monochrome Coffee Co. was established to support and grow the impact work that is done by Monochrome International, a not-for-profit that was founded in 2012 by Founder & Director, Whitney.

Monochrome International is a not-for-profit organisation empowering youth to live extraordinary lives and be leaders in their communities. Their team is committed that everyone finds what they love, do it, do it really well and do it a lot! How cool would it be if everyone was really doing what they love and fulfilling on what is important to them?! They are clear that if every person on our planet were doing what they love the world would be a different place.

So far their programs have been run in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia. Their core programs are their Sponsorship Program and their Empowering Parenting Seminar.
