About Power of Youth

At present ‘the positive economy’ makes up only 7% of the global economy, however it is it’s fastest growing sector. Power of Youth (POY) are an organisation helping entrepreneurs prove it can be done, big business understand how to do it and governments facilitate the transition.

POY do this by:

  • Building a global network with a common purpose (Metta Network)
  • Running international programmes and events to serve the network and share, celebrate & influence best practice through the media.
  • Leverage high value pro-bono services to scale game-changing enterprises and change the mindset of the worlds biggest businesses.
  • Working with governments to help them build the frameworks to facilitate this change.

B Lab and POY share the same vision - a world were businesses are a force for good. As one of POY's members has said "POY looks after me as a leader who wants to change the world, B Lab provides me with a tool to keep my business and my team on track with that vision."

We might use different tools, B Lab is focusing on the business and POY is focusing on the individual but the outcome we want to achieve is exactly the same. We considered POY a B Corp since its inception and it was about time to make it official.

The Change We Seek®

POY is working towards a future where every enrepreneur is driven by a purpose greater than profit, every business is a force for good, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute towards the uplifting of society so together we can build a better world through business.

What makes us a better company?
