Every year, B Lab recognises the top-performing B Corps creating the greatest impact in the five impact areas of the B Impact Assessment. These B Corps are named as a Best For The World™.


What is Best For The World?
The B Corps named Best For The World are amongst the global top 5% in their corresponding size group, in one or more of the impact areas evaluated on the B Impact Assessment.
Best For The World B Corps are modelling the kind of businesses we need across the world.
B Corps recertify every three years and once certified, are expected to increase their score over time as they progress towards becoming a more equitable, inclusive and regenerative business.
Best For The World honourees are proving that competing not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world, is a winning strategy, and they can lead the way as more businesses continue to join the movement that is transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
The UK Best For The World honourees
This year, one in seven Best For The World businesses are based in the UK — that's 165 UK businesses meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability recognised as some of the highest impact businesses in the world. This demonstrates how UK B Corps are modelling the kind of businesses we need across the world.
There are also 15 UK B Corps named Best For The World in more than one impact area of the B Impact Assessment.

B Corps recognised as Best For The World in the Governance section of the B Impact Assessment are excelling in overall mission, ethics, accountability and transparency by building their vision and values into company bylaws. Their practices are focused on how they engage employees, board members, and the community to achieve their mission, as well as employee access to financial information, customers' opportunities to provide feedback, and the diversity of their governing bodies.
There are 68 UK B Corps recognised as Best For The World in governance.

B Corps recognised as Best For The World in the Worker's impact area of the B Impact Assessment are putting employees first and foremost in their business practices. They're leading the way to create a positive impact for their workforce with exemplary employee-friendly practices. Examples include compensation, benefits, training and ownership opportunities, to not only contribute to better conditions for their employees but also mark the pace and set an example to follow.
There are 54 UK B Corps recognised as Best For The World for workers.

B Corps recognised as Best For The World in the Environment impact area of the B Impact Assessment are putting the environment first in all their business practices — they're leading the way towards a more sustainable and regenerative planet by prioritising their impact on the air, climate, water, land and biodiversity. These B Corps offer products or services designed to solve an environmental issue or through their facilities, materials, emissions and resource and energy use, as well as transportation/distribution channels and the environmental impact of their supply chain. By receiving a Best for the World, they are recognised for their focus on the planet as a vital stakeholder.
There are 25 UK B Corps recognised as Best For The World for the environment.

They're making an inspiring contribution to the economic and social well-being of the communities in which they operate. There are 18 UK B Corps recognised as Best For The World for the community.

B Corps recognised as Best For The World in the Customers section of the B Impact Assessment offer products or services that serve the greater good, often focusing on underserved populations and adding value to customers’ lives. Examples include providing critical services like education, healthcare and finance management, and engaging in ethical marketing, data privacy and security, and feedback channels.
