Ready to raise the bar for your business?

Forward-thinking business leaders aren't trading profit for purpose

20 years ago, the B Corp movement was founded on a bold idea: that business can be a vehicle for change.

Through adopting rigorous, external standards for environmental and social governance, over 10,000 businesses worldwide are proving that B Corp Certification is a commitment to a better way of doing business - where profit and purpose can go hand in hand, for people and the planet.

Together, B Corps embrace challenge. Today’s leaders are navigating a complex landscape. Against political headwinds, the climate crisis and growing social inequality, the definition of a successful business is changing fast. Consumer expectations are shifting, and the public is looking for proof, not promises.

Start your impact journey today.

Good business is in demand

At a time when consumers have mounting reasons to scrutinise corporate claims, the UK public is looking to certifications like B Corp to guide their purchasing choices and investment decisions.

  • 63% of the UK public use certifications to help them make decisions on which businesses to buy from or work for, up from 58% in 2023 and 56% in 2022.
  • UK B Corps have attracted a median of £1.5 million in growth funding from external investors over the past decade–18% more than comparable UK businesses.

These signals point to a clear shift– responsible business is in demand.

At the beginning of our own journey, we saw it as being a bit like a rubber stamp of approval. But it has been far more impactful than that. It has changed the way we run our businesses and how we measure success.”

A simple symbol, a powerful signal

Across the UK, over 2,600 B Corps are demonstrating how companies can empower people and protect the planet and remain resilient. Data from B Lab UK’s 10-Year Impact Report shows striking evidence of their success and impact.

  • Turnover growth for B Corps was almost 7 times higher than the UK SME average between 2024 and 2025, proving that purpose-driven businesses scale faster than the market.

  • 93% of UK B Corps weathered the COVID-19 pandemic and remain active today, compared with 84% of UK businesses overall, demonstrating their resilience in uncertain times.

  • UK B Corps are 26% more likely to pay the family living wage to all their workers

These outcomes reflect how embedding purpose into governance strengthens decision-making, builds trust with stakeholders, and ultimately drives long-term business performance.
