Alison Phillips

I’m Alison Phillips, founder of kindred esg. For six years, I’ve worked alongside businesses to build practical ESG management systems and navigate B Corp certification. I particularly enjoy helping teams who are just starting out, when the requirements can feel daunting and it’s hard to know what to tackle first.

My approach is personal, hands-on and collaborative. I take time to understand how your business works, explain the requirements in plain English and turn them into manageable actions. That might mean identifying gaps, gathering evidence, developing policies and processes, or bringing colleagues across the business together to make progress.

Training and mentoring are a big part of my work. I want your team to understand why the requirements matter, feel confident contributing and build the skills to keep improving long after an assessment is submitted. I’ll guide you through the tricky bits and provide practical support when you need an extra pair of hands.

In 2027, we will be launching a new consultancy software platform and AI-supported tools that help organise evidence and reduce administration. That leaves more time for meaningful action and positive impact for people and the planet.
