Fleur Record Smith

I am a sustainability consultant helping SMEs turn sustainability ambitions into practical, measurable action. I specialise in B Corp certification, EcoVadis assessments, carbon footprinting and Net Zero strategies, supporting businesses to improve their environmental and social performance while strengthening their commercial resilience.

With an MSc in Sustainability from Cranfield University and over 15 years of experience running my own business, I bring a unique combination of technical sustainability expertise and first-hand commercial understanding.

As the founder of an award-winning wedding venue that achieved B Corp certification in 2023, I understand both the opportunities and challenges of embedding sustainability into everyday business operations.

I work with businesses across a range of sectors, including hospitality, logistics, professional services and creative industries, providing tailored support from initial gap analysis and strategy development through to implementation and certification.

My approach is collaborative, pragmatic and proportionate, helping businesses navigate complex sustainability requirements without unnecessary bureaucracy. I particularly enjoy helping SMEs recognise how responsible business practices can create long-term value for their people, communities and the environment.

I am also a Board Member and Ambassador for the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, championing positive change across the wedding industry.
