Gillian McKee

I’ve devoted my career to helping businesses thrive responsibly and sustainably. Firstly, for 22 years at Business in the Community NI where I supported countless companies to find their purpose and build a legacy that lasts.

I set up GIRAFFE Associates in 2020 to use that experience to help companies make sense of sustainability, embrace it with confidence, and enjoy the rewards. Our clients range from larger private construction and agri-food companies to public sector bodies, to VCSE organisations. We support them with materiality assessments, sustainability strategy development, training, reporting and compliance with regulations. Construction and manufacturing are specialist sectors for us, but we work across all sectors.

As a B Corp Consultant, I work with companies who need help navigating the process and building the evidence requirements needed for certification. Clients I’ve supported include Deli-Lites, Big+Bold and BlueSky Video Marketing.

Given my wider experience of supporting sustainability strategy development with companies across all sectors, I'm the person to come to if you don't have all your policies and systems formalised and need help with strengthening the foundations before you submit for certification. We can provide whatever you need – simple support through the certification process or full advisory support to make your company stronger, more resilient and ensure you’re ready for certification when the time comes.
