Michelle is based in a wee town called Paisley, on the West Coast of Scotland, famous for Paolo Nutini, Gerard Butler and, of course, the Paisley Pattern! Definitii, a B Corp-certified social enterprise helps businesses turn their intention to do better into meaningful, measurable impact. Definitii was born from a defining decision. In 2009, Michelle stepped away from the traditional corporate path to create her own way of working. Eleven years later, during another period of uncertainty, she made another defining decision: to launch Definitii. The name combines “Defining” and “Infinity” — reflecting her belief that one defining decision can create a ripple of positive change. With 15+ years’ experience across change management, employee engagement, communications and social responsibility, Michelle brings a practical, human approach to B Corp. She helps purpose-led businesses navigate the journey, understand their impact and turn the B Corp requirements into a framework for genuine business change, not simply certification. Definitii is itself a B Corp and social enterprise, giving Michelle first-hand experience of building and running a purpose-led business. She also sits on the Board of Social Enterprise Scotland & provides end-to-end consultancy, bringing structure & accountability to what can be a demanding process. She also facilitates collaborative workshops, believing businesses can learn, share & progress together. Businesses can be for the greater good of all! ☺️
