Muryel Boulay

Muryel Boulay shares her time between B Other Wise, the business she founded and BMJ Group, where she leads sustainability and resilience. She believes businesses should deliver positive impact through everything they do.

B Other Wise, helps companies define their purpose and develop sustainable behaviours: getting leadership buy-in and develop employee engagement. She has been supporting companies to obtain their B Corp certification ever since – translating the standards into governance and practices. She works with businesses across all industries – travel, freight, textile and food manufacturing. She is a Tutor for the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership's Business Sustainability Management online course.

With nearly 30 years of international leadership in food and manufacturing, Muryel understands how large organisations can make a material difference. From setting up new sites in India, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, developing the International branch at Premier Foods, to leading transformation and M&A integration at Velcro Companies, she developed adaptability and ability to work within different business cultures.

Muryel is also a Marlow town councillor, chairing the Environment and Community Committee, and has served as Mayor. She holds a Cambridge certificate in Sustainability Management and other sustainability qualifications from ETH Zurich and Terra, and works fluently in English, French and Spanish.
